Inspired by the curved shape of traditional sickles used throughout history by workers on the land, our heirloom quality, sickle-shape, dust hand brush has an extra long curved handle finished with a leather hanging loop. Beautifully crafted using traditional skills and methods, it is entirely hand made using waxed beechwood forming a gently contoured shape, hand threaded with fine, antistatic, softest, light goat hair to attract and hold dust particles and splayed at each end to reach deep into corners and crevices.

Perfectly shaped for dusting lampshades, especially pleated and gathered silk or fabric shades, this gentle brush will collect dust and dust strings easily and can reach up high to lightfittings thanks to the longer length handle.

A joy to use, it measures 39cm long and the brush hairs may be cleaned using lukewarm water with mild detergent or shampoo; rinse thoroughly and dry naturally away from direct heat then brush or comb the hair before storing flat.

Designed and developed by Redecker in Germany, quality brush manufacturers since 1935, most of our collection is manufactured at the Redecker workshops, although some items require specialist manufacturing processes in other parts of the world.
